Nadia Elena Comaneci

The year was 1976 and she was famous after she scored her only ever perfect 10 on the bar that was asymmetric at the Montreal Olympic Games. To top it off her score, she added six more perfect tens, and was the youngest Olympic silver medalist. The Romanian gymnast was able to attract international attention and help Romania establish itself as a major player on the international stage. Achieving an unattainable score was what made the sports legend famous and brought gymnastics to the forefront of the entire world. People's view of female athletes also changed due to her performance. The effect of her performances during the Olympics is significant enough that her toe step (release) and the toe step were both named after her on the event's uneven bars. Her performance was also impressive at World Championships, European Championships as well as the Olympics. That led to her becoming a legend and she is one of the top gymnasts around the world. The 'Queen' of the Olympics when she emigrated to America, tried out models and sports marketing equipment. Nadia Nadia Nadia Nadia 2 Nadia
